MEGA MEMORY UPDATE

I have not been diligent in this challenge at all. Although I have memorized a few things apart from my personally chosen Philippians chapter 1. The part that I remember most right now, and maybe it is because Paul began many of the Epitsles in similiar manner is the beginning. Actually verses 3 and 4.

Thankfulness and Prayer

“I thank my God upon every rememberence of you, always in every prayer of mine making request for you all with joy,”

These two profound, at least for me, verses have been one of the focus’ God has put into my vision for this new and glorius year.

Many years ago, I was given the revelation of  “continual prayer”. I got it, I became able to pray no matter what. How, you ask? Well, brace yourself, I pray in tongues throughout my day and night. I have gone to sleep in prayer and woke up still in prayer! My favorite is falling to sleep in prayer and waking to Praise and Worship music playing in my head. I have found, too, that the song playing in my head has come to be the answer I was seeking or confirmation to something I had on my heart.

Like Paul, I must thank my God!

And then there is the actuality of God being real. I realized this morning that God is becoming an actual person in my life. A tangible person that I can go to, like I’d call my earthly dad, whenever I want. Someone I talk to daily like one would talk to your bff or spouse.

God is a resident in my home, in my life! Not just in my thought life, my “I hope” life…but a being that I can touch!

This revelation is profound for me! More will be revealed!

So I may not have memorized much…but I have gleened volumes! God’s idea of MEGA MEMORY has solidified for me and I will follow His lead. So as I leave you all this morning I will….

thank my God upon every rememberence of you, always in every prayer of mine making request for you all with joy,”

My thoughts and prayers today will be for everyone on this historic day. My thoughts and prayers will be with the President who will depart our charge today as well as with the incoming President, too. Our nation faces dynamic times, my hope is that this goes where God intends and that the will of men will not stay His hand in our nation, at all.

Blessings
